This was originally published on my X, but it got popular so I’m publishing it here as well.
In no particular order, here are some life truths that no one tells you:
– After a certain point, money does nothing. Pick an aspirational life, find out how much it costs per year, and multiply by 25 (then adjust inflation). There’s no point working day and night after you hit that number.
– The happiest people are those who have good children and live to play with their grandchildren.
– If you’re a man, you should try to fuck a lot of women to learn women’s nature and behaviour. You also develop a lot of sales and persuasion skills in the process.
– You can’t help the average person because they’re a loser who thinks they know everything. If you help them, they hate you because it challenges the assumption that they’re better than you. Also if they fail, the first person to be blamed will be you.
– Corporations are a family like how cattle and their farmer are family. It’s all milk and meat…
– Literally the most important thing in the world is good health. You realise this as you get older. People can’t climb stairs, can’t run, can’t do a pullup, need help to get up from bed, can’t use the washroom by themselves.
– Good looks are 70% low body fat and 20% good skin. Only the remaining 10% is genetics. Very hard to find someone who looks bad at low body fat (assuming they have some muscle and don’t look malnutritioned).
– The more life experience you get, the more you understand why all the successful ancient religions (Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, etc.) hardcoded marriage laws, laws against casual sex, laws against LGBT, etc.
– Masturbation is a loser habit. The bigger the loser, the more they masturbate. Winners don’t need to masturbate, they can fuck.
– Family is so important. It’s literally all you have other than yourself. Look at the regrets of old people and most of them have “not spending enough time with family” as one of them.
– You are not a night owl. You just have a fucked up Circadian rhythm. If you go camping without electronic devices, you’ll start waking up with the sun less than a week.
– It took the internet 20 years to spread to everyone because people had to lay physical wires. It took 15 years for online shopping and Amazon to replace half of physical retail because they had to establish shipping routes. It will take far less time for crypto to replace fiat because all the infrastructure already exists.
– Everyone is moral when the problem is far away from them. Everyone wants to “help refugees” as long as they don’t ever see or hear from refugees too much. Once they have a bunch of refugees sleeping next to their house, they want them gone. Everyone hates abortion until they get a random girl knocked up. The further away the problem is from you, the more moral you are.
