This is going to be a bit different from my regular articles because while most of the other pieces I publish are timeless advice for ambitious young men, this one is more contemporary.
Although I suppose the advice is timeless for all rising peoples. It was valid for China in the 2000s, is valid for India today, and could possibly be useful for some African countries in the future.
Perhaps in the very distant future it will be useful for entirely different populations living in an entirely different world, like how we can take useful wisdom from the contemporary political works of ancient Greece and Rome.
History repeats itself. At least it rhymes.
The great wars with the Persian Empire rhyme with the war the German leader Hitler fought against the evil British Empire, not winning it, but at least significantly weakening and hastening the end of the evil empire which had enslaved billions of people across the world.
The situation of the Greek world leading up to the Peloponnesian War rhymes with the Cold War (Athens and Sparta forming leagues and fighting proxy wars of democracies vs oligarchies – in the cold war it was capitalism vs communism).
The Peloponnesian War rhymes with the first world war, where Germany lost but is not eradicated, and eventually comes back to power for a rematch.
The Delian League turning into the Athenian League rhymes with the NATO of today.
The Delian League started with an alliance of equal members, but as time went on, Athens became the master of all the other members because they were the main party that supplied warriors and sailors, the others just contributed money.
The NATO of today was also incorporated as an alliance of equals but as time has gone on, America has become the master of all the other members because they are the only ones who spend good money and manpower on the military, and the others just rely on them for protection, and thus have to obey them.
When America says and Athens said “jump”, the members of NATO and the Athenian League ask “how high sir?”.
My point is that even though this piece is based on contemporary politics, and usually I refrain from publishing about contemporary politics because it is not timeless, in this particular case the advice is going to be useful in the future and is thus worth publishing.
Why the right wing “white” Americans hate you
Something a lot of Indians do not understand is why right wing white Americans don’t like them.
After all, unlike all the other immigrants Indians don’t have high crime rates, they aren’t smuggling drugs, they aren’t raping children like the Pakistanis, murdering teenagers on the bus, or doing other crazy things.
On the other hand, the vast majority of Indians follow the law, have jobs, contribute much more than they take, and are a net positive.

So why all the hate? Especially why do Indians get hated more than all the violent immigrants that come from other backgrounds?
The answer is that unlike the low IQ criminal immigrants, Indians are smart enough and hardworking enough to get into positions of power that were formerly only the domain of “white people”.
“White people” is in quotes because no one outside of America thinks of people in terms of color. If you go to Europe, you will find that a Spaniard, a German, an Italian, and a Frenchman do not consider themselves the same just because they are “white” in color. It is largely an American cultural invention that is being exported to other countries by American media (news, entertainment shows, etc.).
The “white people” do not like that they are losing political control of what they view as “their” country and would much rather prefer having more criminal Pakistanis raping their daughters than having more Indians who can compete with them for positions of power.
This is the real reason why they are more vocal against Indians more than they are about low IQ immigrants who commit violent crimes in their country.
They can’t actually say this out loud (because it goes against the zeitgeist of current times we live in) so they invent other stated reasons but this is the true reason.
Similar to how the Moslems want to save Palestine, and the stated reason is “humanitarianism” but the real reason is that Palestine is Moslem and they want to help their own (ummah).
If the real reason was humanitarianism, they would be equally loud about saving Tibet. But when was the last time you saw a Mussulman group protest about saving Tibet?
The stated reason is different from the true reason.
All of this is exacerbated by the fact that India is rising geopolitically and economically while their own country is falling.
Someone who goes from $2 an hour to $100 an hour (the Indian economy) is really happy and upbeat. Someone who goes from $100 million net worth to $80 million net worth is not (share of western economy out of the global economy).
Stop wasting time arguing with bad actors
I see tons of Indians wasting their time arguing with brain dead westerners about how superior India is and what India achieved in its history.
You have to remember that you are not having a good faith argument. Logic and facts do not work.
You are talking to someone who hates you because your people are succeeding. There is nothing you can say that will make them change their mind. It is purely a waste of time.
Yes sometimes it’s needed because we do need to be in control of global opinion, but there’s no need to get rage baited by everything you see online.
Someone saying “Indians are pooping on the street” needs to be entirely written off. There is no point arguing with someone like that.
Just mock them because it triggers them even more. My personal favorite is to ask them to change their gender.

You see that the account who was calling me a “poopjeet” got suspended? This is because I reported them. It works much better than wasting your time arguing with them.
Winning online fights is not success. Success is success.
Do you think Alexander was arguing with Persians about who is superior?
Do you think the Chinese could have used rationale and arguments to convince the world that they deserve power and respect?
No.
It does not work that way.
Winning arguments is not success.
SUCCESS IS SUCCESS.
Alexander didn’t argue with Persians, he invaded and beat them. He conclusively proved his superiority.
Why is China respected now but wasn’t respected much 70 years ago?
Because 70 years ago it was nothing. A nobody. A poor backwater communist country known for eating weird foods. Even in India, several very old people have said this to me about China. This was true in living memory.
Today China is highly respected because it has a powerful economy (and manufacturing ability) and a powerful military.
“You need a city to back your words” as the Spartan said.

When I see Indians making claims online about how ancient Indian mathematicians had already figured out the speed of light and a lot of astronomy millennia before the west, I just laugh.
They won’t believe you anyway. Because they don’t have to.
But they will believe you when you are richer and more successful than them (and if they don’t, it will make 0 difference).
That’s the law of nature – the powerful creatures make decisions, the weaker creatures deal with the consequences of those decisions.
Put your head down and put in the work
Now is NOT the time to sit on your laurels or talk about how awesome you are. Or how awesome your long gone history was.
It is necessary to some extent to keep morale high and to motivate more Indians to be more ambitious. But what is most important is that you need to outdo your ancestors and not just be happy that you had successful ancestors.
This is not the time to be celebrating. At least not yet.
To put it in bodybuilding terms, western countries are roided up lifters (USA). Some have come off the drugs and are losing size (like Britain slowly becoming irrelevant after the loss of their evil empire).
India on the other hand is the fat guy who’s lost a bunch of weight but has more weight to lose and much more muscle to gain.
In other words, there is a long way to go. This is not the time to say “let’s compete and see who’s bigger and stronger” because you will lose.
This is the time to put your head down and work. You gotta build that body before you run your mouth.
In the geopolitical sense, we have to build our economy, manufacturing ability, and military a whole lot more before we can even hope to compete.
How you can contribute
Of course it would be by and large ridiculous if I said you as an individual need to build factories and improve the military. There’s only so much each citizen can do, but that doesn’t mean you can’t do anything.
1) Build your own companies.
Instead of working for other people, build something of your own. It doesn’t have to be a powerful tech company.
It’s fine even if it’s a freelance copywriting or web design shop – but build SOMETHING.
Without equity you won’t get rich.
Look, the guys who go abroad to work for a foreign company are to a large extent slaves.
They get paid less than the locals, made to work more, and are implicitly threatened with deportation if they do not listen to their masters. They are monkeys made to dance around by dangling residency.
This is not what we set up our top colleges for. Their purpose was not to provide highly educated and skilled labor to western countries.
Their purpose was that these guys would get skills and education and would build businesses here in India.
Whatever foreign remittances we get are a pittance compared to what we stand to make if we are more entrepreneurial in our own countries.
Don’t let the doomers get to you. It is REALLY easy to start a business in India. Especially if it’s an online business. I know because many of my businesses are registered in India.
Remember the MONKEY LAW OF LIFE (you will never reach the banana if you lack the courage to climb).
2) Build your strength and physique.
At the end of the day, if you consider yourself and your heritage better than others, you have to look like it too.
If you look like shit, you’re not going to be taken seriously.

You have to build your body. You have to eat high protein foods.
Lose the fat and put on some muscle. If you lack the discipline to do it, take the Live Intentionally: 90 Day Self-Improvement Program and it will force you into it and get you there in 90 days.
3) Interact with pro-India content and creators.
If you see someone consistently making pro-India content, give them a follow.
If you see a pro-India post, give it a like. Repost it.
Reply if you have the time. Share it on your own socials. Spread it.
This is the least you can do.
It costs nothing and it motivates more creators to make pro-India content. This is soft power.
The message we want to send is that “if you support our country, we will support you back”.
Don’t be a passive consumer of content. Use the power of your likes to shape the global narrative.
It costs literally nothing and yet so many Indians are so brain dead they don’t even take 1 second to click like on a pro-India post.
4) Don’t engage anti-India content and creators.
Along the same lines, when you see rage bait anti-India content, don’t take the bait. Don’t give them a reply.
Just block and report them. This messes up their reach in the algorithm. Hit them where it hurts.
Fight back in a way that makes a difference.
If you just leave them a reply, you actually helped them.
It boosts their reach and makes them money. Don’t do that.
Report and block.
Easy peasy.
In conclusion
The game is not about convincing foreigners about your superiority or that you’re right. The game is to create such great results that no one needs any convincing. The game is to become so powerful that the opinions of foreigners stops mattering.
No one doubts today that China is a great and powerful country. Because they got results. Money, infrastructure, and military. The Chinese do not give a shit about what anyone thinks of them because they don’t have to.
We need to do the same thing here in India.
And arguing with people online doesn’t achieve that. Putting your head down and doing the work does.
That’s all for this piece.
Until next time.
Your man,
Harsh Strongman
