I recently met someone who had “royal lineage”.
She is a sexy woman who had everything handed to her in life and never worked hard for anything. Her grandfather has a luxury car collection, her father owns a hotel, etc. – lots of inherited money.
Now, I don’t hate on rich kids for inheriting money unlike some people (that’s just pure jealousy) but she literally said that “she’s better than others because she’s descended from rulers”.
That was too much.
Sometimes you have to break a person’s ego.
I asked her a simple question – how many of your ancestors died fighting the British?
No answer. Because the answer is none.
Then I explained to her that she’s not descended from “rulers”.
She’s descended from a bunch of cowards who licked British bootheels in exchange for a pension they got for selling the country out.
Her ancestors weren’t “rulers”, they were little bitches who jumped when the British asked them to jump and shit where the British told them to shit.
Literal subhumans worthy of no respect and recognition.
“Let’s be real, you are descended from subhuman sellout cowards, not great men like you think.”
Her entire mood changed.
“You can’t say that.”
Try me bitch.
I lost of a ton of family members who died fighting for independence from the British. I’m not taking anyone’s superiority complex bullshit about being descended from “rulers”.
You have to understand – if you take entitlement and shit from people, more of it will be given to you.
Sometimes you need to show people their place. Especially people who have an air of unearned superiority who think they can say anything they want.
You need to have some asshole in you.
Back in the day, I used to have a fat co-worker who used try to “fit shame” me.
“Harsh is not gonna eat cake, he’s too disciplined” in a mocking tone trying to get everyone to pile on me.
If you take ‘jokes’ like this, people learn that they can just say anything they want to you. They start thinking you’re a pussy.
I answered with “Yeah man, and you’re gonna eat 3 pieces because you have no discipline”.
Stand your ground.
The guy gets hurt, complains, but learns that he can’t just run his mouth without consequences.
That is important.
If you teach people that they can treat you like a joke, they will.
If you look around, you will see that in all friend circles, there’s one or two guys that everyone picks on. Why? Because they let everyone pick on them.
They just eat the jokes and the disrespect constantly.
If they stopped acting like a bitch, people will stop treating them like a bitch.
It’s okay to be an asshole where it’s necessary.
You don’t have to be liked by everybody.
In fact, if you are a little difficult to deal with, that actually works out in your favor because then people accommodate you more by default.
I’m not saying you need to be rude to people or be uptight for no reason. That’s just a bad personality.
But when you think you are being mocked or berated, you have to make a point.
You have to show people their place. Not always but sometimes.
Otherwise people will take you lightly.
